United Way Sole Sisters Luncheon Crowd to Date

About 340 supporters were in attendance for the Sole Sisters' sixth gala Luncheon held April 14th at Greenwich Country Club. Overwhelmingly the largest event to date, it was chaired by Amy Carbone and Susan Weis and was highlighted by the appearance of guest speaker and bestselling author Lisa Birnbach. Sole Sisters and their guests shopped for a good cause at the Fashion and Accessories Boutique, enjoyed agourmet meal and perhaps a Sole Sisters signature cocktail, and a presentation on the group's good works. Topping off the day, The Official Preppy Handbook and True Prep: A Whole New Old World author gave a hilarious talk on the preppie lifestyle as it exists today.

The Patron Party to recognize Luncheon underwriters and patron-level supporters was held March 31st at the home of Keri and Kevin Cameron. Many thanks to our numerous supporters, sponsors and underwriters for their contributions to this most successful Sole Sisters Luncheon.
